Privacy Policy

Lumi turns a selfie into professional headshots. We built it to collect as little as possible. There are no accounts and no advertising or tracking. Before your photo is ever sent for AI processing, the app shows you a consent screen that explains what is sent and to whom, and asks for your explicit agreement.

What we process

• The photos you choose. When you generate a headshot, the selfie(s) you select are sent over an encrypted connection to our third-party image-generation provider, Kie.ai (operated via redpandaai.co), which runs the AI image models that produce the result. The data the provider receives is the photo(s) you selected and a short text description of the style you picked — nothing else. We do not send your name, email, contacts, or location.
• Generated headshots. Results are stored only on your device. We do not keep copies on our servers.

Face data

The selfies you submit contain your face. This facial image data is sent to our third-party AI provider, Kie.ai (operated via redpandaai.co), for the sole purpose of generating the professional headshots you request. Your facial image is not used to identify or recognize you, is not used to create a faceprint or any biometric template, is not used to train AI models, and is not shared with anyone else or sold. The provider holds the photo only transiently, for the time needed to process your request; Crafted Studio retains no copy of your photo or face data on any server. Generated results are stored only on your device and are deleted when you delete them in the app (Settings → Clear all headshots, or per-image) or uninstall the app. Separately, Lumi performs a basic face-quality check (for example, detecting whether a face is present) entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework; that check never leaves your phone.

What we do NOT do

• No account, name, email, or phone number is required or collected.
• No analytics SDKs, no advertising, no third-party tracking. We do not build a profile of you.
• We do not sell or share your photos or any personal data.

Retention

Your photos are sent to the provider only to generate your headshots; the provider may hold them transiently to process your request. We keep no copies of your photos on our servers. Generated images live on your device and are deleted when you delete them in the app (Settings → Clear all headshots, or per-image). Uninstalling the app removes all local data.

Subscriptions

Lumi Pro is billed through Apple. We never see or store your payment details; Apple handles all billing under its own privacy policy.

Your rights & choices

Because data is stored locally and we hold no account, you control your data directly on the device. You may stop all processing at any time by not generating new headshots.

Children

Lumi is not directed to children under 13.
